The third annual Shane Mulholland Foundation Fun day took place in Loughgiel on Friday 19th July. Thankfully the the bad weather passed through before we kicked off at 4pm and it stayed dry throughout the day so the kids were able to enjoy all the activities.
It was great to see such a good turnout at the event, we're hoping to continue to hold the fun day in mid-July in the future. The tractor run, Fancy Dress Parade and Tug of war were a great success and everyone seemed to enjoy the simulator and other activities provided by Cromore Castles. If anyone has any feedback or ideas on what you'd like to see added next year feel free to leave us a comment. There's plenty of room around the Millennium Centre and we'd be more than happy to see people getting involved in organising and adding to the activities we are providing.
Well done to all who took part in the Tug of War competition, it was a great evenings craic and a great way to finish the event. Benny's team took the honours this year and hopefully they'll be back to defend the title in 2020. We had a couple of requests for a ladies Tug of war next year so be on the look out for that!
