A big thanks and well done to all the U12 players and mentors who participated in this years Shane Mulholland Foundation Blitz in Loughgiel on Saturday 29th September.
After some really competitive matches Ballycastle and Cushendall contested the final with the MacUilin boys coming out on top to take the Shield back to Ballycastle for the next 12 months. The camogie final was even more tightly contested, Loughgiel and Dunloy couldn't be separated and shared the spoils after a great game. Congratulations to all the hurling and camogie teams, you did your clubs proud.
We were delighted to host the Funday event again this year and hope everyone enjoyed the day, it was a touch colder this year but that didn't deter the kids (and some of the adults!) from having a good time on the inflatables and other games.
Congratulations our Archery and Clay Shooting competition winners and also to our Afternoon Tea raffle winner, we hope you enjoyed your prizes!
It wouldn't be possible to put on this event without the help and support of many volunteers and sponsors. Thanks to everyone who volunteered on the day and to those who helped us set up on the evening before and tidy up afterwards.
SPECIAL THANKS TO...
Justin and everyone at Loughgiel Credit Union
Eddie McCloskey and the Senior Hurlers from Loughgiel Shamrocks for organising and contributing the shirts for the raffle

Finally our warmest thanks and gratitude to everyone who donated prizes and/or money to the Foundation, we're taken aback by the generosity of all who attended the Funday and Afternoon Tea and thank you sincerely for your support again this year.
We look forward to organising and hosting the event again in 2019, all being well it'll take place a bit earlier in the summer and will be bigger and better than ever.
