Less than a week to go now to our second Funday event in Loughgiel. The weather forecast looks promising for Saturday but the event will go ahead rain or shine as plans are in place to bring many of the activities into the main hall should the need arise.
We want to take this opportunity to stress that the event is FREE ENTRY for all and attendance is not restricted to the kids taking part in the Under 12 Blitz. Our plan is to make this an annual family get together for all in the Parish and the afternoon tea event is an added encouragement to our older parishioners to come along and enjoy a day out with friends and family before the dark evenings kick in.
We have plenty of activities for toddlers and primary school children and instructors from Foylehov Activity Centre are coming along to oversee Laser Clay Shooting and Archery competitions for older children and adults. These activities are being subsidised by the Foundation with just a small charge of £3 each or £5 to take part in both. All other activities are free.
Our Senior's Hurlers Raffle draw will take place around 3.30pm and we've also got some other competitions and raffles taking place with great prizes to be won.
