A huge thank you to all who came out and supported our Fundraiser last Friday night in Blake's Bar, Derrylin. The night proved a great success and we are delighted to announce that a massive £3145.80 was raised in total!
We would like to sincerely thank all those who made this night possible. Special thanks to Raymond Gallagher at Blake's for not only providing us with a fantastic venue free of charge, but also for all his help on the night. Raymond and all his hard working staff ensured that everything ran smoothly and everyone was being well looked after at the bar!
The main attraction of the night was without a doubt the amazingly talented 'Whistlin' Donkeys', so a big thank you to all the band for coming to play and making it a fantastic night for all.
Our thanks are also extended to all our local business owners and friends who provided the great prizes that were up for grabs in the raffle. Thanks to Beds NI @ The Furniture Junction, Rockview Engineering, ODD.ie Activity Centre, Pat Clarke, Mc Governs Chemist, K&A Creations, GMB Sales, Hair by Imelda Maguire, Patrick Blake, Mountview, Chic, Catherine McBrien & Tommy Brown, and to Sean at Ernco for providing the signage to advertise our night. Thanks again to Paul McCarthy, Mattie Egan and All-Ireland Champions Galway for providing the signed hurling jersey and to everyone who entered the draw online or purchased tickets on the night, congratulations to winner Edel Shannon.
Finally a big thank you to Kelly McCarthy the main organiser of the event and all those who helped with the door and raffle on the night. It was a fantastic night which proved to be a hugely successful fundraiser. We sincerely appreciate all your efforts and passion in supporting this Foundation.
Successful fundraising events like this allow us to continue the good work of the Foundation in Shane's name and we look forward to 2018 after a very exciting and rewarding year in 2017.
