Congratulations to Erne Gaels, Belleek who won the annual Under 10 Shane Mulholland Memorial Cup on Saturday 29th July, in a nail biting final against St. Joseph's, Ederney.
The tournament hosted by St. Patrick's Lisbellaw is now in its second year and this year saw five teams from Fermanagh take part, St. Patrick's Lisbellaw, Erne Gaels Belleek, Enniskillen Gaels, St. Joseph's Ederney and St. Aidan's. A special mention to the St. Aidan's Club who performed exceptionally well for their first competitive tournament since the club was formed in May 2017. Overall a great day was had by all with some great displays of hurling throughout the day.
We would like to take this opportunity to extend our sincere thanks to the St. Patrick's Lisbellaw Club and all those who were involved behind the scenes with the organisation and facilitation of this wonderful tournament. We admire how you continue to remember Shane and this tournament is a truly fitting tribute to him. Ours thanks and gratitude is also extended to all the mentors, players and parents for attending and supporting our future Fermanagh Hurlers and Camogs, without you all this would not have been possible. We look forward to seeing you all in 2018 for what promises to be another exciting tournament. Photo credit: Martin Brady Photography
