On the 20th of March we had the pleasure of visiting the staff and pupils at Scoil Mhuire in Swanlinbar, Co. Cavan. This was one of the many schools which Shane was involved with, in his role as Hurling Development Administrator for Cavan GAA. The entire community of Swanlinbar have shown immense kindness and generosity in their support and fundraising efforts for the Foundation to date, therefore, we were delighted to be in a position to donate & present €1000 (£888.02) to Scoil Mhuire, which was used to purchase new, much needed sports equipment for the school. We would like to offer our sincere thanks to Ciara Murphy (Principal) and all the staff and pupils at Scoil Mhuire, Swanlinbar for their warm welcome and lovely words spoken about Shane. We hope the kids have many hours of fun with their new equipment.
